Downtown

I had such a great day today that I felt like I just needed to share it with you.  I did two things today that I very rarely do, firstly I hung out with myself and realised that I'm not actually such bad company!  And secondly  I spent the afternoon as a tourist in my own city.  That is to say I wandered around downtown Auckland without a care in the world, I met my sister for a coffee, admired the sights, ambled down the pier at the waterfront, window shopped and snapped plenty of photos.  It turns out that this city isn't so bad if you have nowhere in particular to be or go!  I also had a great meeting in town and have an exciting new project to pursue!  So despite limping along all day (thanks to the whooping I got from my personal trainer session yesterday), I came home with a big old smile on my face!
