It's not all serious around here all the time... especially not when I'm working by myself!
This green dress belonged to my grandmother in the 1970s. I used to always blame the 70s on the demise of fashion... but wow I really have to hand it to them, they knew a thing or two about comfort!
Hahahaha,"demise of fashion"?! Wash your mouth out, young lady!!! I have a soft spot for the 70's as I grew up during them, I suppose.I was too young though, to experience the complete divine-ness of the decade, as I only reached my teens in the early 80's. So lucky you are,to have your grandmothers frock! I have nothing,I never knew either grandmother, and despite my Mama being born in 1929 and wearing some sublime clothes over her lifetime, she kept NOTHING.Wouldn't it just rip your knickers?!She had a beautiful debut frock, dammit, when she was 18.ARGH! I do have a coat that belonged to one of G's grandmothers, though, and a lovely haircomb thingy made of bakelite. XXX
