For all you rockabilly guys and dolls...

There are so many great things happening this Summer if you're into pin up competitions, hot rod shows, rockabilly music and general nostalgia!  Oh and the best part is... that Dashfield Vintage is going to have a stall at most if not all of these awesome events!  I will remind you again closer to the time but just so that you can jot them into your diary early here are some of the things that are coming up on the calender...

November 12 2011 - RETRO VIXENS 3
This year is by far going to be the biggest and best Retro Vixens with heaps of stalls, bands, drool worthy cars and even the rumour of a burlesque show!  The evening gig at the Thirsty Dog is also always a great one to check out if you're into rockabilly/ psychobilly music.  We get so little of it in Auckland that this is really a night not to miss!

19 NOVEMBER 2011 - THE ATOMIC MARKET

This is the first of (hopefully many) these kinds of events on the North Island and is being organised by the lovely Rosina Lee.  You ACTUALLY don't want to miss this! Music, clothes, tutorials, pin up competitions, bake offs and a whole lot more!

2012 - THE VERY VINTAGE DAY OUT

The exact dates and info are yet to be released about this event but it looks like it's shaping up to be a good one!  It's going to be a day full of markets, performances, workshops, as well as the crowning of Miss Vintage 2012!  For more info on this click here.

28th March - 1 April - THE BEACH HOP
This is the event that every car enthusiast has marked in their calender!  It just gets bigger every year with people coming as far as Australia to get in on the action!  I'm not 100% sure yet whether Dashfield Vintage will have a stall yet but either way we're going to at the Beach Hop.

So there you have it.  A few things to do this summer!  There are still other annual events that are yet to be confirmed but I will be sure to let you know when they are.
