Some very clever folks

I am always blown away by peoples innovative idea's and 'can do' attitude!  They create a special little niche for themselves by doing something a little out of the ordinary and usually end up putting a smile on people's faces.  I always find them incredibly inspiring and a great reminder that we don't all have to have mundane office jobs but can turn day dreams into reality!  So without further ado let me introduce you to...

Smash Palace
These ladies make jewellery out of your beautiful broken china.  I actually bought a brooch from them years ago without knowing who they were.  But then they really caught my attention (and many others in New Zealand) when they offered to turn peoples broken treasures into jewellery after the Christchurch earthquake.  It was such a beautiful idea and I'm sure a lot of people appreciated being able to salvage a bit of their family china as a reminder.

The Sewing cafe
A few of these places have been popping up around the world recently.  This is such a fantastic idea for people who don't have their own sewing machine but still want to get creating!  You simply head to the sewing cafe, hire a machine at a very reasonable hourly rate and have a cup of tea while you're at it.  I mean seriously, how ingenious is that!

Found
This is truly one of those 'I can't believe I didn't think of that before' kind of business.  A vintage furniture hire company!  They seem to be a real hit with brides, stylists and event planners.  Finding the perfect vintage pieces for your event can take an awful lot of time and effort so having the hard work done for you would be amazing for most.  Most of these places also offer styling  advice if you're too busy to do it yourself.  And on the plus side, if you are completely addicted to collecting everything from furniture to glassware like I am, then this is the perfect way to justify your habit!  If we weren't considering moving overseas soon I would definitely be looking into this.

A Beautiful Mess
I'm always so inspired by Elsie's attitude towards pursuing her dreams.  Unlike many of us who spend so much time weighing out the pro's and con's without ever having the guts to actually put our plans into action, she doesn't seem to let anything hold her back.  I absolutely love the fact that she has managed to pull together several seasons of her own dress line already!  If it were me I would still be scratching my head and wondering where I should even start.

Kind of awesome don't you think?!  If you know of any other clever kids like this then please do share!  I love discovering new (to me) talent.
