Dashfield's most inspiring interior blogs

You may have guessed by now that I'm mildly obsessed with all things interior!  Your home is the one place that you can really turn into an extension of yourself, and your creativity can be limitless.  I'm a very firm believer in that fact that you don't need a huge budget to create a beautiful space, in fact sometimes it helps if you have less to work with!  Items in your home should be collected over the years, they should tell stories and have a history.  Because after all it is those kinds of things that make a home, a real home.  The blogs and websites that inspire me very much emphasise this...

Delicious bohemian interiors that make you wish you lived a gypsy life in the 1970s! So much inspiration here.

Cush and Nooks
I wouldn't mind just jumping straight into this beautiful blog and making myself at home here.  There is a constant stream of bright, colourful ideas and it some how always leaves me wishing that summer would just hurry up and get here.  Make sure you check out the shop too!

Junkaholique
This blog isn't exactly an interior one, but these people have such great style that I had to add them.  I love their DIY touch to everything.  So, so cute!

Making Nice in the Midwest
I only just discovered this blog today and fell in love with it.  It is a perfect example of how beautiful you can make a space without having an insane budget.  Everything is thrifted or handmade which I think is just perfect!

Dustjacket Attic
This blog has been a favourite of mine for a long time now.  It is a fantastic combination of fashion, interiors and design.  I love the great mix of styles that it uses.  Of course I'm always most drawn to the bright, light spaces.

The Selby
... because lets face it, no interior list would be complete without our beloved Selby! Maybe it's because I'm terribly nosey and love to see how other people live, but I just adore this website.  We have The Selby book at home too and I never get tired of flicking through it.

Oh Dear Drea
Okay another blog that isn't strictly interiors (in fact it's an awful lot more about food and lifestyle) but her home is so down my alley!  I love the colours, the DIY jobs and the pretty little personal touches.  Make sure you check out her HOME section.

So there you have it, some of the homes and interior websites that I like to dream about.  I would be very curious to know about what your personal style is?  What sorts of interiors really draw you in?
xx

  1. Aw, thanks Malayka, you're so sweet. I totally agree with you, my favourite homes are ones that reflect the owner's personalities and tell a story, and this usually comes over time. Lots of colour and pattern, and touches of 'quirky' to add personality. x

  2. Oh my gosh... loving the Selby!

My plan is to have different themes for each room - I think that suits my personality the best, since I really do love so many different styles and color schemes. I think it could either be awesome... or totally fail. Guess we'll see how it goes!
