My hours are being cut right back next year at work so I am currently trying to fit in as many days as i can to save money. On a positive note that will finally give me time to dedicate to setting up this shop (which I realise I have been going on about for a while now... but good things take time).
I had myself another busy weekend with a vintage/ retro garage sale at my house which involved;
SORTING
WASHING
DRYING
SETTING UP
BAKING (okay so I can't take credit for these because these little creations were my sisters)
FIGHTING (off the bad weather)
DRINKING (a well deserved Pimms and ginger ale to relax)
On Sunday morning I got up equally early because my mother (who is an amazing potter) was having an open day at the studio and needed all the help she could get. The sun ended up coming out and so did the people which is always fantastic!
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Your mom's studio looks fantastic! And your garage sale likewise :)
ReplyDeleteThank you:) Her studio is amazing, it's my favourite place to hang out.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your mum's work. I used to be a potter myself, and woodfire is my favourite kind of ceramics. Now if only I was in NZ, I would love to come and have a look!
ReplyDeleteWow, studio jealousy! Your Mum's work is really beautiful. Does she have a website?
