First LOVE vintage market

Yesterday was the first ever LOVE vintage/ retro market and we had so much fun!  Despite all the nearby roads being blocked off because of the silly world cup rugby, we still had a steady flow of people coming in, checking out vintage treasures, eating cupcakes and generally hanging out.  All the sweet little summer dresses I pulled together for the day were flying out the door, one thing is for sure... we're all more than ready for summer over here!  The only thing I would change is making sure I don't go out the night before!  I tell you there is nothing funny about working a market on less than 3 hours sleep.  Thank goodness it was right beside a cafe with great coffee... a steady flow of espresso's kept me alert! What I loved so much about this market is that it is held in an old church with creaky wooden floors and get this, it actually has a cloak room!  I vaguely remember that we had one in Primary school but I forgot what they were like with their rows of bag hooks, cold wooden benches and that old musty smell.  Anyway the next one of these market will be at the end of November and we definitely plan to be there!

Well I'm off to meet my dad for our weekly coffee date and then spending the rest of the afternoon loading up new clothes on Trade Me.  The online shop will be under maintenance for a few days soon while I load up new stock there too.  I'm just waiting to get a load of dresses back from the drycleaners.  You guys are going to die when you see the new treasures I have in store for you!
Hope you have a great weekend.
